So I’ve been wandering through my high school yearbooks, and reading things people wrote to me, looking over pictures of people I haven’t seen since the early 90’s…and wondering where they are and what they are doing now.
Sometimes I’m prompted to do research based on random emails from people long since gone…other times from something I see on classmates.com or myspace.com when I get a message from someone I once picked on in senior english. So I thought, why not use the wonderful world of the world wide web and see if I can dig up information on some folks that I remember.
Now keep in mind…I remember very few people from high school. I also remember even fewer people from middle school, (and from college, but probably for different reasons). But, here is the list of people I came up with from High School (Athens Drive HS in Raleigh, NC to be exact), that I actually do remember (and some of which signed my year book which helps me remember even more), and that I want to know about.
If I have any general information about the person, I’ve listed that as well…..so here goes…(these aren’t really in any particular order, but some of them are based on signatures vs. me remembering faces - if you don’t see your name here and are offended, please don’t be, we might already be in touch, or I simply am a dork)
- Sue Butler - I found her again recently on myspace.com….my sue-b-honey, loved a bunch of her (by the way, she was one of the first people to sign my yearbook, and she wrote her entire entry backwards)
- Jennfier Maronpot - longest entry in my yearbook, and on the front page too
- Chris King
- Martin Bland - a very interesting entry in my year book…his senior picture really makes me curious what he’s up to today
- Jonathan England
- Chris Herrin
- Craig Sherwin - ok so I found some web sites that tell me he works for General Mills
- Leland Shaun Stroud - I miss Shaun, and I hear he’s still in Raleigh, NC ?
- Robert Trussell - I think he went to the last reunion but I did not, so who knows…
- Mark Woodman - one of my best friends in high school…i was very sad when we lost touch…we had some email maybe 8 years ago or so, but haven’t heard from him since
So those are all folks who were in my graduating class…….
