It’s 12:33am and I just finished Harry Potter | Homo sarcasmus - the official blog of Heath L. Buckmaster

Now I know some of you are thinking, jeez louise it took you a long time to read that book since it’s been out for weeks.

That is true that it’s been out for weeks.

However, I didn’t start reading it until this morning.

Therefore, I read the entire book today, with a few breaks for eating and restrooming, etc.

I’m not yet sure what to think of the book. I liked it. Parts of it were surprising, sad, exciting, adventurous, confusing. There are things I’m still confused about - and it took me a few chapters to remember why Horcruxes were so important to the story. I almost wanted to go back and read book 6 just to refresh my memory, but then I caught on again :-).

No spoilers just in case some of you haven’t read it yet - but regarding JK’s widely publicized sadness at killing off one of the characters, I actually am not 100% sure which one she was referring to, and I’ll leave it at that.
