Remembering 9-11 with a sticker

I realize this will be difficult to see, but take a look at the picture below that I snapped from my crappy phone camera today…

WTC Plane crash bumper sticker

What you are seeing is a sticker that shows the twin towers, an American flag, and yes, a plane crashing into the tower on the right with a big yellow clipart star in front of it.

Since it’s difficult to see, I have attempted to recreate the picture using Powerpoint.

I really don’t know what to say. It just astounds me that someone would display this type of “bumper sticker”.

    What’s the big deal? I’m sure in Iraq they have a bumper sticker of Saddam hanging from a noose, and one in Viet Nam depicting the execution of a viet cong by Nguyễn Ngọc Loan. Standard “honk if you love tragedy” stuff, man.

    I want to get a bumper sticker that says honk if you use your turn signal.
    Unfortunately, in California, no one would honk at me.

    I don’t know - the whole thing seems very macabre to me. Or maybe it’s just that I like saying the word macabre.
