Here’s something I adore about Vista - the snipping tool.
I just drug my mouse around and created an image based on what I “snipped” from the upper right corner of my screen. I think this might just be my new favourite tool in Vista.

I agree - I have been using it over and over again.
The tool allows you to snip in freeform, rectangular, ovalular, and window capture.
It’s sort of like doing ctrl or alt print screen, then opening up paint shop pro and pasting in the file, then cropping it, then saving it. But the snip tool lets you do all that in one tool.
Select exactly what you want, then immediately save it in jpg/png/gif/bmp format. It saves a ton of time especially if you are capturing many sections of the screen.
