We had to get a new one this year. Last year's stand had four legs, which would have allowed the tree some level of mobility, however, this year, it's a large circular disc, with no appendages, so the poor tree is immobile. We did open the windows so it could smell the fresh air though...it seemed to appreciate that. Not in the current stand. We had to get a new one this year.
