Well I'm thinking that what I might do is create a "page" in wordpress and have one running page that is just american idol.

I can break it up into sections, create a little menu, etc, so people can jump to exactly the section they want (auditions, voting, etc.)

We'll see. I haven't played around with wordpress pages too much, other than the <a href="http://www.digitalheath.com/blog/pollsarchive/" rel="nofollow">polls archive</a>, and Heath's <a href="http://www.digitalheath.com/blog/heaths-twice-read-book-list/" title="Heath's Book Recommendations" rel="nofollow">Book Recommendations</a>...

Wow, I'm surprised people would avoid your blog then, but I guess if they don't watch American Idol, it might not be as much fun. I'm gonna do the second blog thing again, although I might skip the first two weeks - the auditions are so manipulated and staged, I inevitably end up getting annoyed by them.

Well the storm is over - it ended yesterday afternoon/evening pretty much, but we're supposed to have another on the way.

There is damage all over the city. Everywhere we drove there were downed trees and debris all over the roads. We were very lucky to only have one tree significantly damaged, and that is the butterfly bush that is about 12 feet tall, and it just tipped directly over toward the pond.

We're going to right it today and try to brace the base with stones/bricks, and hopefully it will do just fine.

As for AI: Absolutely! I don't know that I will be blogging as intensely about it this year, since some people seem to avoid my blog for a few months when I do that ;-) - but I will certainly be offering my opinions and thoughts, perhaps once weekly.

Stay safe! I'm in Costa Mesa (I fly back to Portland tomorrow morning) and beyond a little wind we haven't seen anyhing bad yet.

Are you excited about American Idol starting up soon? I'm hoping this year will be better - supposedly they're gonna spend more time with the contestants like they used to. I remember when they used to film the contestants doing projects together, going places, and just bonding. I miss that.
