On the topic of American Idol... | Homo sarcasmus - the official blog of Heath L. Buckmaster

This post isn’t specifically about American Idol, so I can still say that I’m not flooding my blog with AI posts…however…

If you are one of the many fanatics out there who is keeping a running blog of the 2008 competition, please post your blog link in the comments here and I will add it to my main American Idol 2008 page. I’d also love a reciprocal link if you like.

So how did everyone enjoy the season premier shows anyway? ;-)

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

So far I am not impressed; nor have I found anything dougworthy of blogging about on the topic of the preliminary AI episodes. However, I did see two cuties from the Dallas show. Colton Swon and that farmer boy… delicious!

I think the show has gotten off to a great start. I’m glad they’re doing more back stories this year. Keeps it interesting. And we have our usual collection of weirdos and misfits. So keep ‘em coming. :o)

Doug - I have to agree. The first week, and the first night of week two have been lackluster for me, especially when two non-american’s got through. I think they have their own versions of the show, so I wonder why they were able to get into ours…..oh well.

Diane - story time has been different for me this year. We really only get to see a small number of contestants in each show because a lot of time is taken up with back story. I like the weirdo montages though - those are always good for a laugh.
