Website Rebranding, again

Posted by: heath In: Technology

I decided to rebrand my websites. Digital Heath has always been sort of a knock-off, and mostly focused on my blog content, which left little room for the distinction between my blog and my books.

So, I’ve decided to split things up a bit.

heathbuckmaster.com will be the official site for me. I’m going to consider it the official home page for author Heath L. Buckmaster, with links to my books, an “about the author” area, and media (photos/videos), but in general everything related to my writing career (which is still in fledgling status).

digitalheath.com will be the official site for my blog. I don’t see any reason to change where the blog resides, and really the only thing I might do in the future is alter the domain name so it matches up with the blog name, Homo sarcasmus. You can already get to my blog via www.homosarcasmus.com, but it redirects to digitalheath.com/. It’s just semantics at this point, but I’m in a rebranding mood so we’ll see.

You shouldn’t notice any differences really, except that the sites are hosted in two different places. The blog stays the same, and remains full of ridiculous content that you’ve come to enjoy. The main site still needs to be built out more, and at this point just features links to a rudimentary About Heath page, and a more prominent link to Transaltar Publishing, the company that handles my books that you need to buy.

Hopefully this allows people to separate things out a bit, and if they read a book and want to learn more, they will hit heathbuckmaster.com, and if they choose to read the blog, they can do that as well. I’m all about being flexible for the audience…well, not THAT flexible. :-)

Cheers!

  • Tommy Marx: Gotta disagree with you on this one sweetie. Yes, Crystal and Siobhan were definitely the best of the women, and while I didn't like the song he sang,
  • heath: Glad we're on the same page regarding Lee ;-). Otherwise, I'm really bored this year. I was hoping that we'd have another big personality like Adam L
  • Tommy Marx: This year has turned out pretty bad. When the most exciting singer is Jewel 2.0, I'm not expecting much. None of the guys has really got my attention,
