And then there were nine – because last week we lost Michael Sarver (finally).
Here’s the rundown.
- Anoop – Caught Up – Fun vocal, light on the energy, not at all his style of song, judges didn’t like it at all
- Megan Joy – Turn Your Lights Down Low – Boring, vocal tone makes it sound shaky all the time, I just don’t get her anymore.
- Danny – What Hurts Most – Judges completely ate it up, how many pairs of glasses does he have, good vocals, final note was off key.
- Allison – Don’t Speak – loved the outfit but the judges hated it, a few pitchy bits but otherwise she rocked it.
- Scott – Just the Way You Are – what was with that hairstyle, a few shaky spots but nice vocal, sounds a bit like early George Michael.
- Matt – You Found Me – nice rock edge afte ra rough start, good false, judges didn’t like it at all.
- Lil Rounds – I Surrender – flat the whole way through, but the judges didn’t hear it apparently.
- Adam – Play That Funky Music – loved everything about it, well, except his hair.
- Kris – Ain’t No Sunshine – grooved on the keyboard, good vocals, nice blend of soft spots and rock spots.

. I thought it was cute. Danny sounded good but I thought his performance was over indulgent, I am kind of over him. I would like to see Megan or Scott go tonight but I am nervous for Allison.
