Long ago, in July of 2007, I first expressed having a crush on the marvelous Helena Bonham Carter.

At the time she was starring as Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter movie of the year, but of course we also remember her from Fight Club and Big Fish, and of course as numerous voices in animated movies from Tim Burton.

She continues to be one of those people that I spot in the news and smile. Today is no different.

This time, however, I’m smiling at both her and her absolutely elegant and classy mother (and I really mean it).

I think the picture says it all. Who wouldn’t want to have someone like that for their nana?

Elegant, sophisticated, and I just want to give them a hug and say, “Good on ya.”
