For the first time since my knee surgery I am finally feeling fine. Well not completely fine, but I didn’t want to spoil the alliteration there with all the F’s.
But seriously, I’m feeling well. I was able to walk around at work today in an almost normal non-limping fashion, and this afternoon when I left I actually walked down the stairs without having to brace myself against the hand-rail. I’d say that’s pretty good progress
.
I knew something was up when I woke up this morning not in knee pain from having slept weird last night. I sleep weird pretty much every night, but last night was different – I actually felt better. I just knew it was going to be a good day despite having to go into the office today for a face-to-face meeting.
Sure enough – I didn’t even park in the visitor parking today (even though my parking pass expired today), I went ahead and parked where I normally do and walked all the way in from the middle of the parking lot. Yeah – I’m proud of myself. I can walk!
Anyway – that’s my Friday message of hope. Everyone needs a message of hope now and then, so here’s your. Go out there and WALK!
