Box of Hair cover copyright Bob ThomasThe hardcover version is now available, and the Kindle version is here. I invite you to visit www.boxofhair-fairytale.com for the “official” website of the book.

On that site, you can even attempt to Unlock the Box of Hair for an exclusive preview of the exciting sequel, The Venus Diary.

Enjoy!

Not only is Box of Hair, a fairy tale currently being published, but I have just finished the sequel, The Venus Diary, and just today (11/11/07) outlined and wrote nearly half of the third book in the series, The Third Kingdom (tentative title).

Oh, and I finished the first draft of a brand new novel (historical fiction) called Sweet, Sweet Kisses.

I am on a WORD RAMPAGE!

Competition complete, now on to work on my other goals.

Tonight is the night…50,000 words are within my grasp, and from there, who knows what could happen.

I’ve updated my personal goals for this competition to the following:

  1. Beat my record of 12 days in last year’s competition
  2. Finish not just the new novel, but two other unfinished novels during November
  3. Reach for the stars and hit 100,000 words in 30 days

Will I do it? I guess we will all just have to wait and see…in the mean time, here’s a graph for you.

In case you’re wondering why it’s flat for today - I’m at work and haven’t started writing yet. You’ll see the blue bar steadily increase starting at 5pm PST. :-)

40644.

That’s all I’m going to say. Oh, and I’m going to beat last year’s record of 12 days.

NaNoWriMo Wordcount TeaserThat’s right folks - over 25,000 words written on my new novel.

It’s freakish how fast the words fly out of my brain and into the story…at this rate I’m going to beat my 12 day record from last year by 6 days…(not that I’m trying to do that)

This actually might be a good thing, because I have two other unfinished novels that I’d really like to wrap up…I might actually be able to get all three of them done during NaNoWriMo this month…we’ll see what happens.
